Calling all real and stuffed animal pets (and their human owners of all ages) join us at the Pet Parade!
NO REGISTRATION/SIGN-UP REQUIRED; JUST SHOW UP!
Sunday, September 20th 11:00AM-11:45PM at the corner of Carpenter & Greene.
Organized by Mt. Airy neighbor, Alexis Lieberman, EMCEE'd by the amazing David Dye & Karen Heller, and stage donated by Quintessence Theatre!!
Birds! Stuffed Axolotl! Fish! Dogs! Cats! Reptiles! Stuffed Unicorns! Rodents! Fish! Join us at the corner of Carpenter Lane and Greene Street during the Mt. Airy Village Fair for the Pet Parade!! ALL friendly pets (and stuffed animal pets) are welcome for this free, fun, and hat-themed parade. Costumes are appreciated but not required (this year's theme is hats). No registration/sign-up required; just show up and you will welcomed to cross the stage and earn a ribbon. Based on the beloved Ezra Jack Keats children's book titled Pet Show! the pet parade celebrates our community, creativity, generosity, kindness, and love for animals in our lives; and every pet (real or stuffed) gets a ribbon for participating.
